RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a leading insurance company with a global footprint, who has a great opportunity for an Underwriting Team Leader to join this high performance team. As the Customer Service Team Leader, you uphold and ensure an excellent standard of customer experience within the Company. Leading the customer service team, your primary responsibility is to provide guidance in achieving both departmental and individual objectives. This includes proficiently managing direct customer inquiries across various lines of business, offering insurance advice, and adhering to underwriting guidelines.

What will you do as a Customer Service Team Leader?

• Lead and motivate the customer service team to achieve departmental objectives and individual performance targets.
• Prepare quotes, issue new policies, and manage renewals within established limits and documented procedures.
• Ensure accurate and efficient data entry into the system.
• Perform duties as assigned by senior management or the core team.
• Chase renewals and oversee payment and debt collection processes.


What do you know that makes you a great Customer Service Team Leader?

Previous experience in a similar Customer Service role, ideally with insurance.
Minimum 3 years in insurance customer service, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
Strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and procedures.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skill
Good Negotiation and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation skill
Preferably Cert CII

You must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area

Salary circa £30k based on experience with bonus and benefits package.
